Dr. Sharon Miller, M.D. is a distinguished Obstetrician-Gynecologist with a career spanning nearly three decades. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Purdue University in 1985, followed by her Doctor of Medicine degree from Michigan State University’s College of Human Medicine in 1990. Dr. Miller further honed her expertise through her residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at DMC Sinai Hospital in Detroit, which she completed in 1994.

Since September 1995, Dr. Miller has served as an Attending Physician and Assistant Clinical Professor at Ascension Providence Hospital in Southfield, MI, affiliated with the College of Human Medicine at Michigan State University. In this role, she has been instrumental in creating a rich learning environment for Ob-Gyn residents and medical students, while providing high-quality patient care encompassing consultation, diagnosis, treatment, and education.

In January 2017, Dr. Miller expanded her practice by joining The Wellness Plan in Detroit, MI as an OB/GYN Physician. Here, she provides comprehensive women’s health care, including both low and high-risk obstetrical services, gynecological preventative care, and specialized surgeries for conditions such as chronic pelvic pain, uterine fibroids, and abnormal bleeding problems. Her expertise is evident in her performance of over 5000 deliveries and her intensive gynecologic operating schedule.

Throughout her career, Dr. Miller has demonstrated a commitment to both clinical excellence and medical education. Her contributions have been recognized with several prestigious awards, including the Silver Award for twenty-five years of service in 2020, the Clinical Faculty Teaching Award in both 2017 and 2018, and the APGO Excellence in Teaching Award in 2011.
