Join NIA Purpose 4 Life for a Pre-Mother’s Day Community Baby Shower
NIA Purpose 4 Life is partnering with City of Detroit Councilman Denzel McCampbell (District 7) to host a special community baby shower celebrating and supporting moms in our community.
This free event is designed for pregnant mothers and families with newborns under 3 months, providing essential resources, education, and support in a welcoming, community-centered space.
Attendees will enjoy food, giveaways, and access to valuable resources including strollers, car seats, and gift cards. This event is also held in honor of local political officials who continue to support community impact initiatives.
✨ Special Highlight: A free car giveaway will take place during the event for eligible participants.

Car Giveaway Requirements:
- Must have a valid Michigan driver’s license
- Must provide 3 months of check stubs
- Must complete a Parent/Childbirth Class prior to the event (April 28, location shared after registration)
