Starting as a staff nurse at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit in 1991, Jamilah quickly proved her adaptability and skill across various healthcare settings. Her experience spans from acute care hospital environments to home health care, where she served as a Visiting Nurse from 1993 to 2000. In 2009, Jamilah advanced to the position of Clinical Coordinator at Henry Ford West Bloom Hospital, a role she held with distinction until 2022. During this time, she made significant contributions to the hospital’s operations, most notably by establishing clear roles and responsibilities for the Clinical Coordinator position. This achievement underscores her talent for organizational development and process improvement.
