NIA Purpose 4 Life is proud to share a major milestone in our journey of community impact.

Our founder has officially been appointed as the City of Detroit Human Rights Commissioner for District 7, a role dedicated to protecting, promoting, and advancing human rights for residents across the city.

This appointment reflects a continued commitment to advocacy, equity, and service—values that have always been at the core of NIA Purpose 4 Life’s mission.

Through this role, our founder will work alongside city leaders and community partners to address issues related to civil rights, fair housing, discrimination, and access to resources—ensuring that every voice in District 7 is heard and represented.

While this is a personal achievement, it is also a win for the community. It strengthens the bridge between grassroots work and city-level impact, allowing for deeper alignment between the needs of families and the systems designed to support them.

At NIA Purpose 4 Life, our work continues with the same focus:
Supporting mothers, families, and underserved communities with resources, education, and advocacy that create lasting change.

We look forward to expanding our impact and continuing to serve with purpose.
